Principal, Financial Risk Group
Dessa Glasser, is a Principal with Financial Risk Group with a 30-year track record implementing innovative solutions and organizations in risk, data, and analytics for clients. She is an Independent Board Member of Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. Previously at JPMorgan Chase, she launched firm-wide Capital Stress Testing Analytics then, as its first CDO, she built the Chief Data Office for Asset Management. She served as Deputy Director of the Office of Financial Research (US Treasury) implementing data and risk solutions, including the global Legal Entity Identifier (LEI). Dessa established the Chief Risk Office for Bunge, as its first CRO. She held senior positions at Credit Suisse, Merrill Lynch, IBM, and KPMG. She began her career teaching at Rutgers University. Dessa has a Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from Fordham University, and serves on the Advisory Board for the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. She has a B.S. from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is a recipient of the US Treasury Exceptional Service Award.
